Making Travel Logistics Fun & Easy in Tofino BC

As our legacy of guests will attest, part of the adventure of coming to Tofino is the road-trip.  From check-lists and packing to travel logistics, it takes some pre-planning.  But with value-added bonuses like our new BC Residents’ Bonus Package, it doesn’t have to be an Amazing Race episode.

How does up to $450 in BC Ferry fare, gas and groceries at Co-op and dining at Tofino’s Shelter Restaurant sound?  Check it out BC Residents – we’ve got the cost of getting here covered and more.

What else should you plan for?

As the only resort in Tofino with fully-equipped kitchens in every suite, think big seaside family dinners or romantic time for two.  Pacific Sands is nirvana for reconnecting over great food, wine and the smell and sound of the surf… but for getaways when you’d rather pack fuzzy slippers and extra books, we offer convenient food and beverage services including:

  • Breakfast Delivered to Your Door – For effortless mornings.
  • Oven-Ready Christmas Dinner – From turkey and stuffing to veggie sides and desserts, check outrageously delicious Christmas Dinner off your list.  You have to see this menu…yum.
  • Gourmet Express – Don’t pack a thing for your dinner party with our complete Lasagna or Chicken Cordon Bleu menus.  What a spread!
  • SOBO to Go – Enjoy easy grab-and-go specialties from this award winning restaurant, available in Guest Services.
  • Espresso Bar – Our Guest Services team double as baristas, ready to make your favourite specialty coffee for your beach walk.
  • Groceries – Out of basics like OJ, milk and eggs?  No problem, head to the fridge in Guest Services.

Check out our vast list of in-room amenities you don’t have to pack.  Some highlights:

  • Did we mention our fully-equipped kitchens? – From glassware and pots/pans to small appliances including toasters and coffee makers, simply pack your food menu and favourite cooking music.
  • Rain slickers – Ideal for that extra layer on a beach walk.
  • Plush bathrobes – Cozy, warm and standard in Beach Houses and Signature Hot Tub Suites.

More complimentary resort services:

  • Resort wide wireless internet
  • Over 500 DVD movie library
  • Selection of family and adult games

Yes, it’s all about great getaway value and yes... we think of everything.

We would like to visit from Ontario and are considering our options.
Fly to Victoria or Vancouver and drive?
Fly to Seattle and take a ferry? But then do we still need a car?
Any suggestions? We would like this to be as economical ( but fun ) as possible!
Thank you!

Hi Eva! Flying to Vancouver or Seattle, then driving and taking the ferry to Vancouver Island are both excellent options. Or do a BC/Pacific Northwest loop: fly into Vancouver, tour around incl. Whistler, take ferry to Nanaimo on Vancouver Island and come see us in Tofino, drive down the island to Victoria and take the ferry to Washington, tour the Olympic Peninsula, fly home out of Seattle or finish the loop and fly from Vancouver. Either way, you're going to need to rent a car...there's so much to see and you'll want the freedom! Hope that helps? Check out http://www.hellobc.com/ for ideas...and be sure to call us at 1.800.565.2322 if we can answer any other questions for you.
