CELEBRATING 38 YEARS OF MEMORIES

It was 1973 when Bill and Joan Pettinger first saw the sleepy fishing village of Tofino, the spectacular vision of Cox Bay and the opportunity of what was then the Pacific Paradise Motel.  So they bought it. 

“Here we are 38 years later and it’s so gratifying to still be making holiday dreams come true,” reflects Dave Pettinger who took over from his parents and ran the resort for over 20 years.  

“From vacations to weddings to the ashes of loved ones, we’ve shared in the lives of families that that have been coming for generations.  Our loyal team has been such a big part of making those special memories and on behalf of the Pettinger Family, thank you.”

Looking to the future, the Pettingers are excited about the roll out of the Master Resort Development Plan and what that will mean for generations to come.
