    The Tofino Public Market Society presents Saturday Markets, May to September on Tofino's Village Green.

     Both locals and tourists alike enjoy visiting the market, held on the Tofino Village Green, at 3rd and Campbell, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Music, food, and surprises add to the fun, festive atmosphere.  

    Come down to the park and check out what people are making, baking, growing and gathering.

    The Carving on the Edge Festival celebrates traditional and contemporary carving arts with something for everyone from lovers of arts and culture to carvers of all skill levels. This year’s festival features exhibits, forums, evening programs, workshops, demonstrations, cultural presentations and canoe tours, from September 7-10, 2017.

    Come and experience the power of west coast carving at the Edge Art Show, a community exhibit that launches with the Carving on the Edge Festival and is hosted by the carvers on-site in the Open Carving Area, from September 7-12, 2017.

    This is a non-profit event providing opportunities for families living with autism to surf in an inclusive environment.

    A day at the beach, dedicated to all the mini hardcore Canadian surfers who brave the cold water because they love to surf!

    The FREE, fun, and competitive event showcases the youngest Canadian surfers who brave the cold waves for their love of surfing. They are committed to fun times and learning how to shred harder. Some of them just want to be in the water with their friends. Many of them love to compete and thrive from the excitement of a day at the beach with friends, spectators, sponsors and their families! For ages 0-18.

    The 4th Annual Beach Day will run as a one day event in Tofino, using a classic heat/judging panel format for the competitive divisions and a non judged ‘expression session’ event for the kids who are not interested in competing but still want to be part of the fun. Divisions include Open Expression Session (everyone wins!), 12 and Under Division, 14 and Under Division and a 18 and Under Division. It's all about the kids and celebrating surfing in our community and in Canada.

    Register online Equipment will be offered to kids who don’t have their own. 

    Preregistration is mandatory and limited.

    Queen of the Peak is an annual all women's surf championship, created by Surf Sister and Shelter Restaurant in 2010.

    This fun, growing event showcases and celebrates the amazing female surf talent present here on the west coast - and beyond!  Contest organizers focus efforts on designing the contest to be ‘female-friendly’ with free child care, dog sitting services and, even a massage tent that is complimentary for competitors.
