On behalf of the Pettinger family and our entire Guest Services Team we are pleased to welcome you and your K-9 Companion to Pacific Sands Resort. In our attempt to make you and your pets stay with us as pleasant as possible, without impacting on the cleanliness and quiet enjoyment our other guests, we would appreciate your full cooperation in following the rules set out below.
Failure to comply with any of the rules below may result in forfeit of deposit and or immediate removal of pet and its owner from our property.
- Limit of 2 pets per unit.
- All pets must be pre-registered.
- Pets of non-registered guests are not permitted on resort property.
- Pets are permitted in "Pet Friendly" rooms only, if you are visiting friends or relatives staying at the resort please ensure that you pet does not enter other Suites.
- A one time $30.00 fee will be charged per pet.
- An additional $200.00 damage deposit will be required at time of check in, refundable at time of check out, less any damages or additional cleaning fees. Suite must be inspected before deposit can be released
- Pets must be leashed at all times while on Resort Property.
- Cox Bay is considered public area and a Tofino By-Law prohibits unleashed pets on all local beaches.
- Owners must pick up after their pets immediately.
- We would ask for your cooperation in not leaving your pet unattended in your Suite for extended periods of time.
- Pets that bark excessively, act in an aggressive manner or disturb other guests or resort staff will not be tolerated.
- Use of resorts linens or towels to bathe or dry off pets is strictly prohibited. Pet towels are available.
- Please refrain from bathing your pet in tubs or showers, proper pet rinsing areas are provide for your convenience.
- Pets are not allowed to sit directly on the furniture or bedding.
- Pet owners are reminded that Cox Bay serves as a natural habitat to many migratory shorebirds and to please ensure their pet is under control at all times.
