Pacific Sands Beach Resort is pleased to offer FREE Kids Camps all summer long, spring break including scavenger hunts, rainforest exploring, survival skills workshops and more.  A huge amount of fun for kids (and not a bad break for Mom and Dad either!)

Summer Kid's Camp schedule:

Complimentary and popular with our young guests, Kid's Camps run daily at 10:00 am, 7 days a week during Spring Break, July and August.

Whales and Otters

Come learn about these two amazing mammals that live in the Pacific Ocean.  Enjoy relay games, sing songs, story-telling and even make your own puppet!

Salmon Program

Did you know that there are 5 species of salmon that live in our ocean?  You will learn their names, their life cycles and even how to say this in Nu-cha-Nulth.

Animal Tracking and Survivor skills

Join us for an exciting program where you will learn how to keep warm, build a fire and eat off the land.  Lots of games and tracking activities.

Rain Forest Explorers

Learn all about the coastal temperate Rain Forest, its medicinal and edible plants and giant trees.  We will do an amazing scavenger hunt together.

Intertidal Investigators

We will have you looking at cool intertidal life with magnifying glasses, playing crab relay races and learning all about life on the rock!

smores roasts:

We are pleased to offer complimentary Smores Roasts nightly during Spring Break and in July and August from 6:30 to 8:30pm... some things should never change. You are never too old to roast marshmallows!
