The Beach and headland surrounding Pacific Sands Resort is truly one of the most spectacular along the Pacific Rim area. Many couples have chosen Pacific Sands to celebrate the start of a new life together. We have hosted a great many celebrations here at Pacific Sands but due to the lack of certain facilities, small ceremonies are welcome (50 people maximum) however, receptions must be held offsite.
Some couples choose to exchange their vows right on Cox Bay while the more adventurous types choose the grassy bluff or headland at Sunset Point, known for its breathtaking vistas of Cox, Rosie, and Chestermans Bay.
Below you will find answers to most commonly asked questions and policies regarding weddings. If you require more information please contact Jodi Stern or call 1-800-565-2322.

- The Beach is considered public property (Provincial) and the erecting of tents, temporary structures or serving of alcohol requires a proper permit.
- If you are considering a ceremony at Sunset Point please be advised that access to the point is via a boardwalk trail and all guests should have proper foot wear. The trail is fairly level in most areas however some steps are involved.
- Pacific Sands Resort is a private resort and we ask that all Wedding Guests be registered at the Resort.
- Please contact West Coast Weddings and Events (Susanne May) at 1-250-725-2213 for more information on Resorts that offer inclusive packages plus meeting or banquet facilities.
