A growing concern since 1995, Jason Bertin bought the Atleo River Air Services operation in 2000 and moved it to its new Tofino headquarters. A self-confessed operations guy, he spends his time behind the scenes ensuring Transport Canada’s requirements are met and exceeded. With five exemplary pilots on board, safety is paramount at Atleo. As Tofino’s only locally owned and operated airline, it was all about float planes until this year when Jason added a Bell 206 Jetranger helicopter to the fleet.
