From the beauty of breaking waves and the simple splendor of a tide-pool, to adventurous action shots or candid selfies against our rugged shores, there’s no shortage of Tofino photo-ops! Show us what made your stay special and Instagram your way to our Monthly Photo Contest prize of a 2-Night Getaway, including complimentary wine on arrival and Vij’s Curry To-Go dinner entrees for 2. Simply tag #pacificsandscontest and you’re in!
You can also email or upload your photos, and at the end of each month, our resort judges will review photo contest entries based on technical quality, originality, composition, and artistic merit.
It’s not easy! Every month, we receive so many amazing guest photos. Key things we look for are:
- Does the photo tell a story?
- Does it make us go ahhh and wow!?
- How’s the focus, colour sharpness, depth-of-field and light?
No question, Mother Nature delivers a stunning backdrop everywhere you look in Tofino, but other shots to think about might be:
- Cooking adventures as they unfold in your in-suite kitchen
- Fun antics and activities during your girls getaway
- Group shots from your seaside deck or hot tub
