EVENTS — Rip Curl CANAM Surfing Championships
Canada’s most highly anticipated surf contest is back, hosted annually in Tofino, Canada. The Rip Curl CANAM Surfing Championships is presented by White Claw from April 14-16, 2023! This NorthAmerican Continental event series, CANAM, is sanctioned by both Surf Canada and @usasurfing and will feature women and men surfers from across Canada and the Americas, all contesting for the prestigious Rip Curl CANAM titles in: PRO, OPEN Amateur, U18 & U16 Shortboard, Longboard, SUPsurf.
Rip Curl CANAM provides a vital opportunity for some of the best regional talents who are looking to capitalize near home at a venue that has been the epicentre of incredible moments of Canadian surfing history. This comp provides a crucial stepping stone in the right direction and to stay in the hunt for their dream of the making the ’23 Canadian National Team for ISA events, and build confidence on the WSL Qualifying Series, but most of all, its a whole lot of Fun for competitors of all abilities and fans of this sport’s very unique and awesome lifestyle and culture.
