Experience Pettinger Point

If Pettinger Point could talk…

Named after the Pettinger family—the visionary entrepreneurs that saw an opportunity in 1972 and created Pacific Sands Beach Resort—Pettinger Point has been the backdrop for generations of moments and memories.

From family reunions and celebrations of life, to proposals, weddings and sunset strolls that led to life-changing revelations, Pettinger Point has been there.

Located at the north end of the Resort and Cox Bay, experience Pettinger Point unfolding before you on the Sunset Trail boardwalk—one step, one intoxicating breath at a time.

From gazing into the countless microorganisms in a simple tidepool, to observing the waves of marine life fuelled by the ebb and flow of the mighty Pacific Ocean, Pettinger Point is a spectacular ecosystem unto itself.

Naturally, Pettinger Point is also an onsite focal point for our free Summer Kid’s Camps offered daily in July and August through our partnership with Raincoast Education Society. These popular Kids Camps deliver an engaging outdoor education experience, including a hands-on understanding of the importance of a sustainable future.
