Ahhh… the promise of spring is upon us with Spring Break just around the sweet-smelling corner. The days are getting longer, the blooms are getting brighter and the whales are doing their thing, right on cue. Whether you’re staying with us during Spring Break or thinking about it, here's a line-up of Tofino happenings to make this year’s family getaway unforgettable.

March 8 to 21 – Nightly S’mores Roast
Enjoy complimentary fireside celebrations of everybody’s favourite marshmallow treat, nightly from 6:30 to 7:30pm in the main Gazebo. From roasting sticks to all the delicious ingredients, guests big and small are welcome to help themselves. More on Resort Services.

March 14 to 22 – Pacific Rim Whale Festival
For 29 years, Tofino and Ucluelet have saluted the arrival of 20,000+ migrating Gray Whales with the always-eventful Pacific Rim Whale Festival. From parades and beach tug-of-wars, to educational talks and chowder chow downs, choose from over 40 events and seaside shindings, many of them free.

March 19 – Scenic Flatwater Paddle Board Adventure with Tofino Paddle Surf
Get on board the fastest growing watersport with this two-hour introductory paddle boarding tour of Tofino’s protected mudflats. Perfect for first-timers and advanced paddlers, experience wildlife and stunning scenery at sea level as you skim through Tofino’s unique ecosystems. More info.

March 16 to 20 – Spring Break Kids SUP Camp
Held daily from 9am to noon, this Stand Up Paddleboard camp is the most fun your kids will have on the water! (Pssst! Nice break for mom and dad too?) Book for the week or drop-in when space allows. More info.

Beach Cruisers 
Our spanky new fleet of fat-tire cruiser bikes will be back and ready to roll for Spring Break! Enjoy a relaxing ride on the beach or take the easy, paved trail into Tofino. Half or full-day rentals include helmets and locks.
