Meet Lara Kemps, Resort Manager and 15+ year team member with even longer ties to the community.  How long?  Lara actually lived on Wickaninnish Beach in 1973 before it was declared a National Park.

She was also part of the launch team for the Annual Pacific Rim Whale Festival which just celebrated its 25th anniversary and she’s been a director on the Ucluelet and Area Child Care Society since the beginning in 2001.  Our community child care centre opened in 2010 and guess who played an integral role?

Together with her husband Kim, Lara's a busy mom as well to Jack (7) and Claire (11) .
