Coming together as a community to share a meal is a time-honoured tradition for ƛaɁuukwiatḥ. During festivals, family celebrations, weddings, and potlatches, honoured guests are invited to share in a wholesome meal. It is around good food that elders and knowledge keepers share their wisdom and their stories, when hearts and minds are most receptive to teachings.

In keeping with this tradition, you are invited to enjoy an evening of ƛaɁuukwiatḥ style hospitality including traditional food, art, song, and dance hosted at Tinwis Resort.

Putting traditional Tla-o-qui-aht food on the map, caterer Roberta Tom will prepare dishes the way of her elders, rich with ingredients found in Tla-o-qui-aht homelands.

These traditionally prepared, locally harvested dishes are exclusively available at the highly anticipated return Tla-o-qui-aht Frist Nation naaʔuu series this spring.
