Suites + Accommodations

Do you have accommodations with a kitchen?

All Resort Suites and Beach Houses have fully equipped kitchens, including the essentials to whip up an easy meal.

Run out of eggs during your stay? Or need a waffle maker for your famous brunch?

We have a convenient selection of groceries for sale in Guest Services, and our Gourmet Pantry features appliances, bakeware, and more that you can borrow during your stay.

Can I request a specific room number or floor?

We do our best to fulfill requests for specific room numbers or floors, however, requests cannot always be guaranteed.

Can our pets come on this holiday?

Yes, furry friends are welcome here! There is a one-time Pet Fee of $50 per dog, per stay and a maximum of two dogs per suite.

Does every suite have an ocean view?

We offer a range of accommodation and views to suit your preferences. All units offer views of the Pacific Ocean from your balcony or patio.

One Bedroom Oceanside suites offer both garden + ocean views.

Do you offer extra beds in suites?

Each type of accommodation includes a pull-out sofa bed in the living area. We do not offer additional beds, cots or mattresses.

Do you have accommodations with air conditioning?

As the Resort is situated on the beach, our system circulates ocean breeze air from the outside and is usually sufficient to keep our guest rooms comfortable. We do not have suites with air conditioning. However, a free-standing portable fan is available in every guest suite if needed.

What is your early departure policy?

Early departure guests will be responsible for 100% of each remaining night reserved.

Are reservations required for any resort facilities?

Yes, we recommend making a reservation before arrival for lessons at The Surf Shack, massage treatments at By the Sea Spa, and sauna sessions with Tuff City Saunas.

Do you have an onsite restaurant?

Yes! The Beach Shack Cafe is the perfect way to start your day, with hot dips, cold dips, salty eats, and so much more. You can even skip the line by ordering online.

We also offer additional onsite food services, including Gourmet Welcome Amenities and Groceries.

Do you have an electric vehicle charging at the Resort?

Yes, we offer complimentary electric charging stations per building area for our resort guests to use on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Arrival + Departure

Are early check-ins available?

Our check-in time begins at 4 pm. However, you are welcome to request an early check-in before arrival, and we will do our best to accommodate. If your suite is unavailable when you arrive, we will store your belongings in Guest Services and deliver them to your suite. Guest Services will contact you if your accommodation is ready before 4 pm. You are welcome to stay in the resort while waiting for your suite.

Can I request a late check-out?

Late check-out requests must be received by Guest Services 2 days before your departure and are always subject to approval depending on our occupancy. Approved late check-outs will be until noon without a fee. Extra charges will be applied beyond noon, depending on the suite availability.

What is your smoking policy?

All our accommodations are non-smoking. However, we have designated smoking areas, such as parking and garden areas.

Do you have any laundry facilities at the resort?

Yes, our Beach Houses include an in-suite washer and dryer. We also have the coin-operated laundry available in the Oceanside Suites and Lodge buildings. In addition, complimentary laundry detergent sheets are available at Guest Services.

Can I request additional amenities in my suite?

Please contact Guest Services by phone or text them at 1.778.762.3320 if you require additional items. Housekeeping will also replenish items in your suite during your daily service.

Do you have Wi-Fi at the Resort?

Yes, we offer complimentary Internet access throughout the resort.

What are your housekeeping services?

Housekeeping occurs between 10am and 5pm, and includes:

  • making up the room and a hideaway bed
  • sheets changed on the 4th day of your stay
  • amenity replenishments
  • towel replacements
  • garbage and recycling removal
  • window cleaning
  • vacuum floors

If you prefer to minimize contact, use the blue tote in your unit to fill in the stocking list. Leave it outside your door by 10am, and we’ll collect and refresh.

NOTE: Refer to your map upon check-in for more info. Bins left out after 10am will not be replenished. If your Do Not Disturb sign is hung on your door when housekeeping arrives, they will not return later to check if it has been removed.

What are your contest or giveaway stay terms and obligations?
  • Won stays are redeemable between September 16th and June 19th and must be booked within one year of the contest closing date. They are not valid for Long Weekends, holidays, or the blackout period of June 20th – September 15th. Prize redemption is dependent on availability. Won stays are subject to a 7-day cancellation period, and if canceled within that period, Pacific Sands reserves the right not to rebook the stay.
  • Won stays do not include the addition of any packages, meals, sauna or spa sessions, bike rentals, surf lessons, pet fees, the substitution of a different suite type, or third-party prizes unless explicitly stated in the contest post. You are welcome to add these amenities for additional fees or upgrade your suite for an additional cost.
  • The winner is responsible for their own transportation to Tofino.
  • The prize cannot be redeemed for cash value.
  • Pacific Sands or its contest/giveaway partners will contact the winner directly via direct message from their official Instagram accounts (Pacific Sands Instagram account is verified and has the handle @pacificsands) or directly via email ending with  @pacificsands.com.
  • Pacific Sands will never request credit card information to determine your eligibility to win a contest or giveaway prize.  Please be aware of potential scams or fraud when entering online contests and alert Pacific Sands about suspicious accounts or messages at info @ pacificsands .com
  • Pacific Sands run contests do not require a purchase to enter. On social media, entries do not require a minimum follower count nor a public account.
  • Entries are limited to persons 19+ and may be limited to residency of select countries if outlined in the contest post or form.
  • Upon checking-in at the resort in person, a valid credit card is required for authorization to cover incidentals and will be released upon checkout provided there are no damages or room charges.
