From Giving Tuesday on December 3rd through January 1st, Pacific Sands Beach Resort is partnering with the Clayoquot Biosphere Trust Holiday Giving Catalogue, offering a unique opportunity for local charities to make an even bigger impact. How big? Pacific Sands is matching donations dollar-for-dollar up to $10,000.

Established in 2000—when Clayoquot Sound was designated a UNESCO Biosphere Region—Clayoquot Biosphere Trust (CBT) is a one-of-a-kind community foundation in Canada, and one of 1800 worldwide, implementing the United Nations’ goals to protect the environment, reduce poverty, end hunger, and ensure quality education.

Supporting What Sustains Clayoquot Sound

CBT’s annual Holiday Giving Catalogue supports local registered charities doing incredible work to sustain and uplift the Region, including WildSafeBC, Raincoast Education Society, Redd Fish Restoration Society, and more.

Fact is, with inflation and rising costs, many organizations are struggling to deliver vital social and environmental initiatives. Your support through donations fosters connection and ensures support for these essential programs while celebrating the spirit of giving.

How You Can Double Your Impact

Now through January 1, 2025, when a donor contributes—for example, $500 to an organization they’re passionate about in the Holiday Giving Catalogue—Pacific Sands matches that amount. Suddenly, $500 becomes $1,000, doubling the power of generosity and keeping all contributions right here in our community.
